Dr. Chacon grew up in Puerto Rico, where he earned his dental degree from the University of Puerto Rico. He moved to New York City where he completed his specialty training in orthodontics from St. Barnabas Hospital orthodontic program, going on to become board-certified. He was inspired to become an orthodontist after sitting in his orthodontist’s office as a teenager, captivated by the before-and-after photos on the wall. Seeing how transforming a smile could change someone’s confidence and happiness sparked his passion for a career in orthodontics.

Outside of the office Dr. Chacon enjoy kayaking and spending time with his family – especially traveling and exploring new places together. He competes internationally in kayaking, fueling his love for adventure and challenge.
